Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute (CHRI), Kelambakkam was established in the year 2006. The campus spreads over 95 acres of land. CHRI is a constituent college of the Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE). The college offers undergraduate (MBBS), postgraduate (MD, MS, PGD) and super speciality courses in various areas. The institute has secured 49th rank in the Medical category in NIRF 2021 Ranking.
