The Ramaiah Medical College (RMC) was established in 1979 with the vision of providing quality education to all. The College is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka and is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

The College is well-equipped with the latest infrastructure, technology-enabled classrooms and advanced laboratories, and continually focuses on teaching, clinical practice, and research.

MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore by was established by the Gokula Education Foundation (Medical), a charitable trust in the year 1979. It is also known as MSRMC Bangalore. The institute is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka. MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore offers undergraduate, postgraduate and super speciality courses to the students. The institute has secured 37th rank in the Medical category in NIRF 2021 Ranking with an overall score of 50.05 out of 100. It had secured 30th rank in the same category in NIRF 2020 Rankings.      

MSRMC is located at M S Ramaiah Nagar, Mathikere, Bengaluru in Karnataka. Lottegollahali Railway Station is around 2 km away from the college. Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru is approximately 31 km away and Yeshwantpur Bus Depot is around 6 km away from the college. Students can hire a taxi or take an auto rickshaw to reach there.
