Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College Kolar

In 1984, a dedicated group of visionaries, led by Sri R L Jalappa, established the Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust for Backward Classes in Karnataka. Their focus was on providing Medical Education and Social Services. Two years later, in 1986, Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College was born in Tamaka, Kolar. This marked the beginning of a significant contribution to Medical Education, Research, and Health Care for the rural population in Karnataka.
